Fun fact: this is a factory body style of the Mini. Most people don’t realize that they were available in other body styles, but they were. In adition to pickup trucks like the one above, they were also available as panel vans and even wood-paneled station wagons!
Not only that, but there was another car built on the Mini architecture called both the Riley Elf and Wolsely Hornet (depending on trim) that featured a slightly elongated trunk and an arguably even more adorable face.

It's got junk in the trunk and not afraid to show its buckteeth. Maybe less cute and more impish.

There is a guy in Honolulu down the street from where I grew up that has what looks like all of them, mini madness at his house.

The Imp was less impish and more like a formal sweater like the Corvair. The point is it's quirky but in business attire.

But it’s rear-engined like a Porsche, so it’s business up front and party in the back. Mullet car!

So it’s still like the Cor vair’s cheeky British cousin. The penniless musician cousin who has a lot of heart but nothing else.
